The “techies” are going to hate me, but who cares?
- You can’t afford it! $649 without a plan? Come on! You still need to eat, don’t you? Your kids will be paying the thing off!
- It’s mostly sizzle and little steak. The phone’s “upgrades” aren’t all that significant… But the hype sure is!
- The frenzy may kill you! Unless you have a death wish, you really shouldn’t be irrational enough to enter a store filled with fruitbags who have spent hours in line to buy the latest “Must Have” device. God help you if they run out…
- Do you really need another device? According to Apple… yes! Seriously though, most people have more tech strapped to their person than Iron Man!
- There may actually be events of greater significance to concern yourself with this week. I have no idea what they are, but I’m sure they’re out there…
- The iPhone 6 will have been released by the time you get home from the store…
ONTO OTHER BUSINESS..
A shout-out to my newest blog buddy, Kristen Lamb and her best-selling tome, We Are Not Alone: The Writer’s Guide to Social Media. Give it a try, folks. You won’t be disappointed…

You needed 6 reasons, I only need one…. It’s made by Apple.
I hear you!
I wish there was a trade in program – if there was a better price incentive to “upgrade” I would be interested in the newer model. But I don’t stand in line for much, definitely not a phone.
There should be a trade-in program, but the bottom line would suffer, so that will never happen!
iPhone is over rated. but it’s an Apple, so of course you have to get it. I only need 1 reason to not get it. It’s Apple. Ok, make that 2, your number 6.
It’s truly crazy how fast technology is moving, isn’t it?
Lolol. I really feel sorry for the employees who work in the stores that run out. The customers at least have a fighting chance to escape.
I’ll stick to my brand thanks.
I can’t blame you…
ha ha ya the 1st and 6th does it…and in my case by the time i reach home the price of that damn thing will drop drastically
I hear you, young lady!
Heck, I don’t even own a cell phone. I hate all this buzz about new phones; like you’ve said, there are more pressing issues to worry oneself than the purchase of an iphone.
I don’t own a phone either! What are the odds?
That’s really, really strange!
So is The Hook at times!
I’m not going to buy the new iPhone just on general principles. Being that I haven’t broken mine yet. And believe me I tried.
I bet you have!
