#71: Office Drama.

For years, I’ve played a small, yet physically and mentally demanding role on a soap opera.

The problem is, I’m not an actor.

Nevertheless, I’ve had to endure more drama than you’d see in a year of General Hospital! When you work in a hotel you expect a certain amount of gossip, affairs, arguments, etc., but sometimes you feel yourself drowning in the sea of emotional garbage people create.

You don’t see this sort of thing in the animal kingdom. If our furry cousins have a problem with each other, they simply tear one another to bits. Literally.

If that went on in the workplace you’d see a drastic reduction in office drama.

This explains why I am not currently occupying a management position.

  1. LOL!!!! You rock. Drama is all around…

  2. You are much better off where you are than sitting behind some desk dealing with managers and rabid co-workers.

  3. I know the feeling. Drama, drama everywhere and no one stops to think.
