They’re everywhere these days – and it really sucks!
Movies, television, adverstising, and even books (Yes, some people still actually read!) have all been placed under the thrall of the modern-day “sensitive and wildly-romantic” vampire.

Don’t blame Anne Rice, though, her vamps were gay!
One last thing, to all you lovely women out there who are feeding this vamp-frenzy: just remember this little fact about the objects of your affection…

LMAO Food, oh yeah, I got a Lot to feed them! hahaha
Good one!
I fail to understand the lure of vampires to American women and girls. Maybe because the lastest batch seem so harmless. I don’t know. I don’t get it.
You and me both!
Good point. All this vampire craze has done is paint a pretty face on a LOOSER.
Life sucking users, moochers, sociopaths, shall I go on? Maybe not. Hrrumph. No personal issues here
Of course not!
LOL!!!!!!!!! *facepalms*
I just recently discovered two of my three sisters are into the whole vampire craze. Good lord is it ever ridiculous!!!!!!!!
You said it, Woman!
HAHAHAHA! I actually liked the old school version of vampires better….
Even if I secretly knew they wanted to kill me!
I read Laurell K. Hamilton’s “Anita, the Vampire Hunter” books..those vampires aren’t wildly romantic and sensitive and she is a pretty kick ass killer! I just discovered that they have comic books now based on her books…hmmm……I’ve never been into comic books before but I might have to now!
Marvel Comics publishes those books; they’re suposed to be pretty good! You can probably get a trade paperback collecting the first few issues. Enjoy!
I vant to drink y’er blood. hahahaha. (joking)
btw … nope, you haven’t missed a thing over at La Avventura, I’ve just been awol for a few weeks. Thanks for thinking about me, I feel so bloody special now.
“Bloody special”? Good one!
The craze will never die. I’m so a vampire fan. Anyone remember FOREVER KNIGHT, (1989-1996 Starring Geraint Wyn Davies) or Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994 Starring Tom Cruise & Brad Pitt)? My sappy generations contribution. I was soooo bitten, thus I think todays trend is “perfectly normal” and nothing more than an evolution of the “legacy fascination”.
I’m no Bella (Twilight 2008-2010 Starring Kristen Stewart) — but I do like the bite. lol!
I remember those! Forever Knight was the first version of Angel, but it was preceeded by a tv-movie starring Rick Springfield as a “good” vampire. Glad you like vampires, but you’re not who I was referring too – you’re not crazy!
You should sell t-shirts with “YOU’RE THEIR FOOD, CRAZY CHICKS” emblazoned across the front over that “Twiglight” (an intentional misspelling) douchebag’s face.
Very nice! I like that idea!
People still read? Lol…. You mean with a Kindle right…
Uh, sure…
